Item Description
Illustrated cardboard box contains 7.75" tall hard plastic doll w/jointed arms and head w/working puppet mouth controlled by lever on back of head. Doll has sleep eyes, but these are stuck open. Beehler Arts Ltd., © Kagran, c. 1950s. Box has partial stamp on end reading "200 Howdy Doody." Lid has .75" area of surface paper lift from price tag removal and some scattered aging, but box remains tight and Fine/VF. Doll  has die-cut cardboard string tag noting it as a "Virga Doll" w/maker name on reverse. Doll wears nice outfit consisting of cloth shirt, denim jeans, plastic bandanna and leatherette boots. Missing original tie-down ribbon, but o/w doll is Exc. Scarce doll, especially as boxed w/tag.
