Item Description
5.5x10.5x5/8" deep textured paper pencil box by American Lead Pencil Co. ©1936 John F. Dille Co. Box No. 4618A features Buck Rogers flying through space and firing raygun at rocketship on front w/additional image of spaceman riding rocket on back. Scattered lt. wear/aging w/some oxidation to small staples holding segmented cardboard insert in place. Fine/VF. Comes w/3.5x6" notebook w/lined pages. ©1937. Cover features great illustration of Buck and Wilma Deering in space w/spaceship in bkg., a man in capsule between them. Pad has inked name on front cover top/inside cover and shows lt. handling wear. Tape on binding at top. Cover has a few tiny spots of surface paper lift, not greatly detracting from images. Complete and unused aside from inking. Fine overall. Rare.
