Item Description
1x1.25" tall fully three-dimensional figural head of George Washington, his head formed as two pieces; front and back, which feature an unusual spring-assisted cap-firing mechanism, w/back half of head lifting down for insertion of cap and spring holding it tight. Unknown maker, c. 1890s. Cap bomb has lt. wear from use and shows some oxidation around spring area. Fine overall.
