Item Description
Pair of 24x36" posters issued for the American Cancer Society in 1969-1970. Both feature graphics by Peter Max. First is "Happy People" and features grid of smiling profiles. Text at top reads "Happy People Don't Smoke Cigarettes." Second is "Life Is Beautiful" And features large profile of man's face w/psychedelic Max designs surrounding it. Text at top reads "Life Is Beautiful - Stay Alive - Don't Smoke Cigarettes." Both feature "Peter Max" name logo at bottom w/"A Public Service Of The American Cancer Society" text on second poster. Both posters are rolled w/aged tape remnants on reverse along top margins and at bottom corners, first poster having some surface paper lifts. Scattered handling wear, Fine/VF overall.
