Item Description
Eight pieces differing as to size, color or reverse construction. What they all have in common is text on the curl that reads: "The Andy Warhol Button Button By Andy Warhol (c) John Milton Williams 1966". The two in top row are 1.5" and 1.75". These are pin-back buttons with a spring pin inserted into the open back. The remaning five are 1.75" and one larger at 2.25". These reverses are metal covered with a .25" long threaded post extending from the center that would accept a nut. These have a few small oxidation marks on the metal reverses,  but all the celluloid covered fronts designed in Dayglo fluorescent colors are clean and glossy with exception of .25" narrow tan mark barely seen on extreme edge of the last two in bottom row. Very scarce and 8 of about only 15 total found (the others sold long ago)  in the archive of button specialist Marshall Levin. Comes with Hake's COA.
