Item Description
4x13.5x8" tall painted wood fire engine w/attached jigsawed wood Mickey Mouse figure w/paper labels on each side. 1930s. Mickey holds rope fire hose that connects to manually-operated hose reel. Original pull string attached to front. Grille has small "Chad Valley" decal. Right side of Mickey has noticeable fading to red pants and accents. Left side color remains bold. Mickey's front leg has hairline crack at knee w/glue repair (more noticeable on left than right). Other general scattered wear to the entire toy. VG overall, but a very rare pull toy, this is the only example we have offered in our 49 years. Michael J. Stern Collection.
