Item Description
8x10.5" envelope contains complete and unused c. 1934 punch-out set inspired by the components of the Blue Ribbon Waddle Book, though this was sold as a stand-alone toy, not part of any book. There were also Spanish and German printings of the book, but none for Japan, making this a unique piece. Most text on the various pieces is in Japanese. Illustrated envelope includes illustrated instructions on reverse. Envelope shows obvious wear/aging w/edge splits. Good. Two cardboard punch-out sheets for figures of Mickey Mouse and Pluto. Pieces marked "Patent Syutsugansumi - Nakatani Gangu Seisaku - Sennichimae Osaka." Die-cut cardboard ramp is 16" long. Image of Japanese boy trademark character on end panel that elevates ramp, rather than Mickey who appears on the ramp for the book. Same Japanese boy image appears on the other paper pieces. Punch-out parts are o/w same as those issued w/waddle book. Packing slip is also included w/small sealed envelope containing metal fasteners. Trace of aging but all is NM/Mint overall. A true Disneyana rarity and the only example we've offered in our 49 years.
