Item Description
Hake #10. 1.25" with open back which has small tab at top holding vertical pin. This and the Wilson mate also in this auction are two of the earliest litho buttons. They were preceded only by a pair issued for Taft and Bryan in 1908. This is an extremely clean example with close to 100% paint. There are a couple of tiny lighter marks on his face which are as printed. Nice gloss. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
