Item Description
Original envelope w/"Official Navy Posters" address label contains 28.5x40" Official Navy Poster, Industrial Incentive Division 1-80M poster published by US Government Printing Office #0-535654, 1943. Graphics feature image of column of soldiers marching by John Falter USNR. Text reads "Put Them Across! The Toughest Job Is Still Ahead!" w/inset "U.S. Navy Dispatch" that reads "To Fellow Americans Ashore: Let's Waste No Time... Put Them Across With Ships, Planes And Guns... Stay On The Job And Deliver The Goods... Gangway For Victory. Admiral Ernest J. King - Commander In Chief U.S. Fleet." Folded as issued, poster has some small creases at fold crease intersections as well as a few small tears along fold lines and at fold crease intersections (most under .5" in  length), but is o/w bright, clean and VF. Envelope has label w/matching poster title and is addressed to International Chain & Mfg. Co. of York, PA and shows obvious and heavy wear and just comes along. Campbell Family Collection.
