Item Description
Original envelope contains 20x28" OWI poster No. 62 issued in 1943. Poster features great image of soldier advancing w/bayoneted rifle and list of major battles thus far in the war - Pearl Harbor, Bataan, Coral Sea, Midway, Guadalcanal, New Guinea, Bismarck Sea, Casablanca, Algiers and Tunisia. Folded as issued, poster is Exc. Envelope is addressed to International Chain & Mfg. Co. of York, PA and shows edge wear w/moderate creases at right. Top edge has been slit open w/.5" tear. Fine.
