Item Description
Original "Official War Poster" envelope contains 28x40" War Production Board A3 poster published by US Government Printing Office #449797, 1942. Graphics feature image of Navy gunner at gun, w/three warplanes in distant bkg. by Fred Ludekens. Text reads "He's A Fighting Fool - Give Him The Best You've Got - More Production." This was part of a five-poster set, all focused on promoting wartime production. Folded as issued, poster has some small creases at fold crease intersections, but is o/w VF/Exc. Envelope is addressed to International Chain & Mfg. Co. of York, PA and shows edge wear w/moderate creases. Top has been neatly slice open. Fine. Campbell Family Collection.
