Item Description
8.5x11" three-page (first page is double-sided, last two are single-sided) contract w/typed information concerning April 16, 1972 concert date at the Academy of Music in New York, NY. Contract is dated March 30, 1970 and was between the American Federation of Musicians/Associated Booking Corporation and Dr. John - The Nite Tripper. First page has been signed in red felt tip pen by Dr. John as well as Howard Stein in blue ink. Second page has been initialed by Dr. John in red felt tip pen and initialed in blue ink by Stein. Contract notes specifications required by the band for this performance including Hammond B3 organ, two Leslie speakers and baby grand piano as well as noting wage of $2,500 (plus $500 extra is gross ticket sales exceed $21,000). Contract has two staples at top left, both of which have oxidation w/some staining by them. Contract is o/w clean and VF. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
