Item Description
24" long by 5/8" thick jig-sawed painted wooden horse has inset art on left rear flank of Lone Ranger w/his name in rope design and art of Tonto on right side. Attached metal strips hold horse on 10.5" wide by 35.25" long wooden rocking base. Licensed item made by Mengel Playthings w/their elephant decal on top of wooden seat. Reins have been replaced and lasso is from vintage Lone Ranger outfit and is included here to match photo image. Scattered overall wear but displays Fine and structurally sound. Scarce and classic Lone Ranger item. Comes w/vintage 7.75x9-7/8" glossy photo from the Lone Ranger Inc. files showing a Mengel Lone Ranger rocking horse w/size and pricing information as well as 1939 copyright. Back has "Sievers Commercial Photographers" stamp. Exc.
