Item Description
Lot of three items related to this short-lived family dining establishment that was announced for a small number of California locations in 1969 to compete w/the Roy Rogers restaurants that opened in 1968. The Lone Ranger chain would close less than a year later. On weekends Lone Ranger actor Clayton Moore would make personal appearances at the restaurants, sometimes handing out promotional silver bullet keychains. Lot includes 8.5x11" aged parchment paper sleeve w/silver foil sticker/seal showing portrait of the Lone Ranger w/"The Good Food Guy" text. Pinch creases to left/right sides w/some handling wear. Fine. Sleeve holds 8.5x11" 16 page promotional booklet used to entice entrepreneur to open franchise. Includes numerous photos and vintage Lone Ranger photos. Inside back cover is sleeve (w/repeated portrait of the Lone Ranger w/"The Good Food Guy" text) that holds floor map, operating cost breakdown, application, "The Lone Ranger Creed" and mailing envelope. Scattered lt. wear but VF/Exc. overall. Also comes with glossy textured paper sheet showing interior of Lone Ranger restaurant, complete w/lamps decorated like the Lone Ranger. Exc.  Very rare promotional items and the first we've seen.
