Item Description
12.5" tall solid plaster statue shows topless hula dancer w/braided string skirt posing w/her hands in her hair, which has a flower in it. Unmarked but c. 1940s. This statue has much more attention to detail than other such carnival statues, hula girl is depicted w/detailed eyelashes and red nipple accents. A few tiny nicks and some dust soiling, but statue displays Exc. Eric Renner Collection and the example shown on page 93 of his book "American Disguise."
