Item Description
8.5x11" on glossy paper 14 page program. Cover features a sketch of Martin Luther King and a detail of the Statue of Liberty's torch. Text on cover at top right reads "Sunday June 18, In The Year Of Our Lord, 1961" with the word "Our" lightly crossed out in blue ball point pen and the word "Their" inserted. The program features many pictures including portrait of King, Mahlia Jackson singing and a young Sammy Davis Jr. Davis and Jackson both participated in the event organized by the Western Christian Leadership Conference. Vertical fold at center as well as three scribbles and three short lines of numbers in pen on reverse. Otherwise only minor handling wear. Fine. Scarce.
