Item Description
5.5x8x3.5" deep box contains 100 wax packs, each 2.75x3.75" (originally issued w/120 packs). Issued in 1954. Each pack contains a single card and stick of gum, wrappers are 1¢ variety. Topps used the same identical wrappers and display boxes for two different Tarzan series. These are all "Tarzan Savage Fury" cards, ACC# R714-12 (the other series was issued in 1953 as "Tarzan & The She Devil). Box has noticeable moisture staining and aging. Box remains tight but VG. Because of the moisture, contents have been compromised w/various degrees of aging and wear to the wrappers. Cards inside wrappers have also been affected and one should expect staining and spotting caused by the deterioration of the gum, if cards were to be removed. Despite this most packs are still very displayable. Contents are sold as is. Still a rare, near full box.
