Item Description
9" tall, 6 oz. box. 1950s. Front panel features image of Cadet Happy w/inset ad for the trading cards which were issued one per box (see near set #2559). Text reads "40 Exciting Full Color Pictures Of Space Heroes, Rockets, Jets, Weapons, Stars, Planets. Start Your Collection Today!" One side panel has additional ad for the Space Patrol Microscope Kit that was available for 25¢ and one box top. Back panel ad is for generic salad bowl set. Inside of box still retains the waxed paper liner bag. Top flap has been cut open along front edge but all flaps remain intact, bottom flaps sealed as issued. Box has lt. scattered trace of aging, front panel at lower left corner has small and very faint tan stain that blends. Box remains tight, bright and VF. Rare. This box is a must-have item to go along w/your Space Patrol card set.
