Item Description
Lot of three tin litho tops, each 2-1/8" dia. by 3/8" deep. Undersides are unpainted tin w/small raised point at center so they can be spun. Tops features unlicensed but well down images of Mickey Mouse (wearing medals on his chest and w/shoulder epaulets on his shoulders, saluting and holding saber), Betty Boop and Bimbo. Tiny "Made In Japan" text at bottom. 1930s. Comes w/plain metal tube w/spiral thread activator w/attached dome piece at end. This is used to spin tops. When threaded spiral is extended, it is pushed down upon raised centers of tops, causing them to spin. Moderate aging. VG/Fine. Tops have some small scattered paint marks but are VF/Exc. overall. Rare.
