Item Description
This popular set from 1930s came in various configurations. Lot includes 8.5" long "Army Supply Train - 500" electric-operated locomotive engine w/headlight, 5.75" long tender, anti-aircraft gun and operating searchlight mounted on 5.5" long flat cars and 5.75" long "Army Supply Train - Official Car" caboose w/rear light. Engine is painted pressed steel w/tin litho sides, rest are combinations of painted tin/tin litho. None of the mechanical or electrical features have been tested. Engine/cars show varying degrees of wear in the form of small nicks/scratches w/some spider-webbing to black "coal" potion of tender. Fine overall.
