Item Description
6" tall by 7" dia. mostly tin litho and plastic toy w/three-dimensional tin litho Dumbo figures w/intact rubber tails. Early 1960s. Built-in key at top of carousel's central pole (which has slight bend, but is not greatly distracting). When Dumbo (w/trailing wire/striker attachment) passes over one of the seven tin litho keys inside carousel track/base, a musical note is heard. An eighth key is fiberboard as produced. Tin litho carousel umbrella top has images of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. A version of this toy came w/rubber figures of Mickey, Donald and Goofy that can be placed on the Dumbo figures as if riding them, but this is version produced and sold w/o these figures. Base of carousel has images of the Three Pigs playing music. Toy works well and remains bright, glossy and Exc.
