Item Description
From a 1948 series of ten different watches, w/those characters in birthday scene on cardboard box lid. Box measures 3-3/8x4-3/8x1" and contains 1-1/8x1.5" chrome luster metal case watch, w/original vinyl-covered leather bands. Dial has Bambi portrait and his ears are animated, pointing at the numerals. Same box was used for all watches in this series w/ink stamped name on one side panel designating specific character. This box has complete "Bambi" name as stamped. Lid shows moderate edge wear w/scattered surface paper loss but box remains tight and Fine overall. Insert has .5" die at die-cut slot. Bands show lt. wear and case has some lt. aging but watch works and is VF overall.
