Item Description
Size 16, 2-1/8" dia. E. Howard & Co. 14 Karat Yellow Gold Engine Turned Hunting Case pocket watch w/coat of arms crest, though no coat of arms has been engraved. Back of case opens to reveal second case door that opens to reveal engraved "E. Howard & Co. - Boston" name and inner mechanisms. Inked inspection note on inside of case back. White porcelain dial marked w/black numerals w/sub seconds dial at 6 o'clock position. 1878. Serial number 229431. Dial has small "E. Howard & Co. - Boston" text at top center. Small hairlines at 12 and 2 o'clock numerals and minor wear of sub seconds dial rim. Case has tiny dent at edge of case back and some trace wear but is o/w bright and clean. Running and VF overall.
