Size 18, Series VIII 2-1/8" dia. E. Howard & Co. 14 Karat Yellow Golf Open Face pocket watch w/wonderfully engraved scene of building w/tower set amongst flowers and wheat sheafs on case back. This opens to reveal second case door engraved w/"D.C. Murphy" name and opens to reveal engraved "E. Howard & Co. - Boston" name and inner mechanisms. White porcelain dial marked w/black Roman numerals w/sub seconds dial at 6 o'clock position. 1884. Serial number 300851. Dial has small "E. Howard & Co. - Boston" text at top center. Some hand chasing on case back but o/w bright and clean. Running and Exc.
