Item Description
Pair of 3" dia. celluloid-covered booster buttons for the Carling World Open, the last incarnation in a series of golf tournaments on the PGA Tour sponsored by the Carling Brewing Company 1953-1967. These buttons were issued for the 1965 tournament that was played at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton, MA. Buttons were issued for Arnold Palmer ("Arnie's Army") and Paul Harney ("Paul's Pals"). Exc. Rare due to limited issue. Both are first examples we've seen.
