©1968 Mattel. 26 wide x 35" tall steel wire rack.14.5x26.25" sloped cardboard base w/large "Hot Wheels" logo in florescent orange and white. Display rack has 16 pegs to hold approximately 48 "Hot Wheels" cars. Display base designed to hold in- store collectors catalog which was spiral bound with thick cardboard pages. Wire rack painted in metallic blue has moderate wear w/lt. oxidation. Fine. Top of wire rack has attachments where an additional sign could fasten. Cardboard base has moderate aging/wear. Glue residue where catalog would have been attached. Right side has 2x3" loss of surface paper where logo should be. Both sides have heavy wear at back corners. Bottom has lt. overall moisture damage with some warp and oxidation on some staples and overall still Fine. The display itself is very rare and first we've offered in our 49 years. The piece to acquire if you already own the equally rare collector's catalog.
