Item Description
Size 14, 1-13/16" Waltham Watch Co. multicolor 14 Karat Gold Hunting Case pocket watch w/coat of arms crest on case front, though no coat of arms has been engraved. Both case front and back of case feature multicolor accents to flower designs and back of case has small diamond set just below center inside starburst design. Back of case opens to reveal engraved "Elgin Natl. Watch Co. - U.S.A. - 15 Jewels" text, serial number and inner mechanisms. "Elgin Natl. Watch Co." refers to another name Elgin went by at the time of this watch's production - Elgin National Watch Company. Fancy white and pale blue porcelain dial is marked w/black numerals and thin gold floral accent design at center surrounded by five tiny red faceted stones. Sub seconds dial at 6 o'clock position. 1907. Serial number 13845139. Case front has broken off at hinge. Dial has hairlines between 8 and 11 o'clock numerals. Running and Good/VG overall.
