Item Description
Size 16. c.1850. Enameled dial features dual time zone sub dials each with Breguet hands and a sub seconds dial at 6 o'clock. The center second hand is independent and functions as a lever activated stop watch. NM. Hunter case is ornately signed on the dust cover and the exterior of the case has surface wear including a couple of scratches in excess of 1" and softening of the chased designs consistent with moderate use. Fine/VF. Movement is a key wound "Detached Lever 21 Jewels" with dual winding and setting arbors. Clean and functions properly. Exc. An early and complicated tool watch that is a rare survivor of fine horology.
