Item Description
Pair of Size 18 Hunting Case pocket watches by the Illinois Watch Co. Both have white porcelain dials w/black Roman numerals. Yellow Gold-plated hunting case is 2-1/8" dia. and has engraved filigree case w/small house image surrounded by flowers on case front. Case back has coat of arms crest, though no coat of arms has been engraved. Inner case lid opens to reveal engraved "America - Springfield, Ill." text, serial number and inner mechanisms. 7 Jewels. Serial Number 430157. 1882. Scattered case wear. Running. Fine/VF. Coins Silver hunting case is 2.25" dia. and has coat of arms crest on case front, though no coat of arms has been engraved. Case back and inner case open to reveal engraved "Illinois Watch Co. - Springfield" text, serial number and inner mechanisms. 17 Jewels. Serial number 1181626. 1892. Not running. Moderate case wear including a number of tiny dent to case front/back (back being more noticeable). VG/Fine.
