Item Description
20x24" artboard has original mixed media art depicting the main box lid art for 1960s Pyro Plastics 1/58 Scale model kit No. 374-298, depicting a Japanese (Gulf Star Tuna Clipper) fishing boat. Art shows the ship at sea, a buoy visible in bkg. as two members of the crew stand on deck. Art is signed by A.J. Rudisill, an internationally-acclaimed artist whose work has been exhibited at major galleries throughout the country. Earlier in his career Rudisill provided stunning model kit box art, such as offered here. Art area measures 17.5x22". Large model kit number in marker at lower left. Corner tip wear w/creasing at upper left/lower right. Printing labels at center margins. Margins have some tape/tape residue/tape staining, none of which affect art. If matted and framed, art would display Exc.
