Item Description
1.5x2.75x6.25" tall empty box. Issued in 1942 by Milkes Company but part of a rare and uncatalogued additional series. This box is for "Machine Gunner" w/corresponding front image and side panel text as well as being listed on the back panel w/five others in this series "Tank, Officer, Marine, Pursuit Ship, Sailor." This is a totally different set of six from those listed as ACC# R190. That series included Capt. Colin Kelly and Gen. MacArthur as well as a totally different "Machine Gunner." While boxes from that series are rare, the box we are offering from this series is the only example we know of. Minor bend on die-cut head but o/w totally bright and clean. Exc./NM.
