Item Description
20.5x28" half-sheet (w/attached date sheet for total size of 28x29.25"). 1945. Poster features classic image by Bill Bailey depicting elephant carrying clown on its trunk. Date sheet is for Auburn, NY Wait Showgrounds performance that took place June 29, 1945. Poster has been folded as issued w/3/8" tear at fold crease intersection. Fine. Comes w/three 8.5x16" pressbooks for 1953, 1955 and 1959. Typical pressbook contents w/great circus photos including clowns, a variety of circus animals and performers w/press releases. Each has cloth binding at top w/some staple oxidation. Scattered aging w/some age spotting to covers. Fine-VF.
