Item Description
3x5" marble block w/felt underside has high relief cast metal plaque attached on top showing the LZ 129 Hindenburg airship, that flew from March 1936 until its tragic accident on May 6, 1937 in Lakehurst, NJ. This paperweight was produced shortly after the disaster and features swastika border as well as Nazi Germany swastikas on ship's tailfins. Metal has some aging and marble block has some aging and small chips. Fine/VF.
