Item Description
27x41" one-sheet from the original release of the 1961 musical directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins and starring Natalie Wood, Richard Beymer, Russ Tamblyn, Rita Moreno and George Chakiris. Poster features minimalist design by Joe Caroff showing two couples dancing, one on fire escape. Poster has been folded and shows wear along fold lines and at fold crease intersections, w/1.25" split at top right fold and 2.5" split at center right fold line. Left center also has 1.25" split at fold line. Pin holes at corners w/strips of tape staining at each corner and top center margin. Bottom margin has 1" tear at right and .75" chip at center. .75" strip of insect damage at "W" in "West" portion of title and .5x1.5" spot of surface paper lift at top tagline. VG overall.
