Item Description
Lot of three 4x6.5x4" tall figural glazed ceramic banks in the shape of footballs w/gold luster lace details w/coil slot just behind this. Opposite side has flat area for decal placement. Each decal is different, including - Augusta Military Academy as well as NFL teams the New York Giants and Baltimore Colts, w/Colts having additional "World Champs - '58-'59" text in gold luster. 1950s. Underside of non-NFL bank has original rubber stopper which has hardened w/age while other two banks show trace remnants of felt pads that were once attached. VF/Exc. These were typically produced for college football teams, making the two NFL examples offered in this lot scarce.
