Item Description
1-5/8x2-1/8" copper finish brass match pack holder feature hinged lid w/"ND" Notre Dame seal and raised football image. 1930s. Moderate aging w/some wear to copper luster, rest having scattered patina. Fine overall. Comes w/3.5x6x2" deep brass letter holder w/enamel paint around football design covered w/signatures of Notre Dame college football team members, w/image of Knute Rockne at center. "Notre Dame National Champions '30 - '31" text at corners (another was produced for 1930 season). Backside has scores for that year's games. Underside has H.J. Yaley maker's name. Front of letter holder has slotted area to hold small included calendar w/all months cards and four date cards. Scattered aging but Fine/VF overall.
