Item Description
W&H backpaper used between 1900-1901. Features a right facing portrait of a youthful "Eugene V. Debs." Red/orange border with gold filigree framing the image shows none of the fading typically seen on the few examples of this button we are aware of. Tiny black dot at 3 o'clock at extreme edge is under the cello as made. Almost no surface wear even in reflected light. NM displaying Mint. A truly outstanding Debs rarity.
