Item Description
Group begins with four celluloid pennants on stickpins. These name colleges and reverses read "Factory No. 30-2nd Dist. N.Y." Tiny tip off of "Kentucky" with the other three Mint. Next are six tin pennants each with a bar pin on the reverse and text on back "Factory No. 2 Dist. Of Md./Ensign Perfection Cut." One of these is dated 1913. The other two have an initial or simply a two color design. Next are celluloid flags of nations on brass stickpins. Reverse of these gives a description of the country, names the nation and has the text "Seventy Nations In Full Set." There are 47 out of the 70. Flag of Abyssinia has a corner off. In the bottom two rows of the nation flags there are nine duplicates and three of these have small damage. Group ends up with 19 celluloid flags showing state seals in outstanding color. These were issued c. 1915 and carry the name of the Chicago maker Cruver. 85 pieces in all. NM unless noted otherwise.
