Item Description
1-3/16". This fascinating aluminum token references the ANA election campaign of 1909. A caustic fight between famed numismatic dealers Farran Zerbe and Thomas L. Elder. A braying donkey represents Zerbe w/erratic text including "In Me I Trust" and "Stung States Of America." Reverse features allegorical donkey atop "The Summit Of Impudence." Crisp details. Scarce.
