Item Description
1.5" with no back paper or maker name. Reverse has a fixed horizontal bar pin. Button has real photo without dot pattern of woman with the given name of Millie Lawrence also known by her moniker "The Girl In Blue" which also appears on this button. She was famous for manipulating the news media through the artful use of the scandal and she has been called "The First Real Queen Of America Burlesque." She traveled across America, often at odds with local indecency ordinances. While our previous lot is a gorgeous color button depicting her, this black and white real photo button is even rarer than that. We know of only two examples of this 1.5" button and our previous example exceeded $300. Glossy and NM displaying Mint.
