Item Description
Smallest button for "Mickey Mouse Undies" is .75" while the largest button is the 1-5/8" oval for "Buster Brown Walking Club." Group includes rare button picturing "Whizzer" and with additional text "Reporter/Chicago Daily News." Among the other characters are Felix, Happy Hooligan, Jiggs, Skippy, and a pair of early "Dick Tracy Detective" buttons each with back paper reading "Read Dick Tracy Every Day In The Chicago Tribune." Among the human personalities are comedian Joe E. Brown along with a button from the 1934 Chicago expo showing him and reading "Frank Buck Club/'Bring 'Em Back Alive'". This has a very tiny dent at the top of his helmet and near microscopic crazing of the paint. Bottom row button showing "Tillie The Toiler" has a few paint scuffs near the bottom. Vast majority are clean and glossy. Exc./NM.
