Item Description
7x10-1/8" single-sided handbill for May 24-26, 1968 concerts at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, CA that were to feature Janis Joplin w/Big Brother & The Holding Company although they had to cancel, appearing a few weeks later. Concert featured Clara Ward Singers and H.P. Lovecraft. Art by Crazy Arab features a Dali-esque design of nude woman on carousel pony riding around mystical merry-go-round as children play in bkg. Horizontal fold at center w/corner creases at upper left. Handling wear w/some smudging at marquee area at bottom. VG/Fine overall.
