Item Description
17.75x20.5x7" deep cardboard window box, originally designed by Ideal in 1966 and this reproduction set was made in 1995 by Scooter's Custom Works. Considered a fan-made piece of only 45 sets. This is set No. 0007 and is a complete boxed set that includes "Authentic Hand Painted Figures Of: Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Superman, Bat Car (Batmobile), Bat Plane, Ray Weapon, Robot, Plus Arch Villains, (Keyman, Joker, Brainstorm)." Pieces cast from original molds in resin w/hand-painted details on heroes. Batmobile was glued in place as issued but has since come loose (easily reattached). Box shows wear w/inward warping to lid, causing some edge splits. Window has come loose at upper left corner. Fine overall w/contents NM overall. As original 1966 playsets regularly sell in excess of $10,000, this makes for an affordable way to have an example to display.
