Item Description
Lot of eight pieces of glazed ceramic comprising four sets made in England by Wadeheath, c. 1938. All feature high relief wrap-around designs (aside from toast rack and egg cup set's plate, which do not feature wrap-around design). 4.5x8.5" toast rack features Dopey laying on blanket watching squirrels at opposite end of tray. Underside has Wadeheath mark and Disney name. Missing metal piece that held toast but still nice for display. 6.75" dia. by 4.75" tall covered bowl w/attached plate base features figural Dopey handle and side of bowl feature bluebirds and rabbits. Underside is unmarked w/exception of small "N." 8" tall lidded teapot w/figural squirrel handle. Front features image of Dopey w/rabbit while back features deer. 1" hairline to rim interior w/glue repair and minor .5" hairline on opposite side of rim. Underside has Wadeheath mark and Disney name. 6.25" dia. plates w/four recessed areas for placement of included 2-3/8" tall egg cups, each w/same rabbit on side. Plate and cups each have stamped Wadeheath name and Disney copyright on undersides. All pieces have typical crazing and lt. even aging. VF overall.
