Item Description
Large 24x33.5" thin paper poster for Oct. 13, 1981 concert presented by Mike Scheller Concerts that took place at Walter-Köbel-Halle in Rüsselsheim, Germany that featured The Grateful Dead in support of their 1981 live record "Dead Set." Poster features its iconic cover featuring Uncle Sam and woman skeletons seated on a hillside overlooking San Francisco, Manhattan and Brooklyn. This art was featured on the front and back cover of the gatefold album cover. Lower left features small image of the album as well as listing the band's previous four albums - "Terrapin Station, Shakedown Street, Go To Heaven" and "Reckoning." Poster has some handling wear w/some small impression lines on "Grateful" name at top left and .75" sliver off top center margin, but is o/w bright, clean and could be framed for an Exc. display.
