Item Description
6.5x9" hardcover w/dust jacket and 216 stiff paper pages. Whitman, ©1937 Walt Disney Enterprises. Book features six choice color plates and nice cover illustration on front while back cover is just blue. The only reference to Mickey Mouse is that in the book's title. Front cover features illustration of numerous children (including two Golliwogs) gathered around shoe house. Main story involves nursery rhyme characters such as Old King Cole, Little Bo Peep, others plus back-up story "War In Bugland" and is nicely illustrated throughout featuring many full page illustrations. The English version of the book has only 156 pages. DJ shows wear w/corner/edge creases and scattered color rubs. Fine. Book is NM, the nicest example we've seen. Rare in this condition and w/DJ.
