Item Description
11" tall (to the tips of ears) stuffed velveteen body w/felt ears, glass eyes/nose, round "cotton tail," leatherette belt w/metal buckle and original ribbon around neck. Made in England, c. 1931. Printed facial features include Dean's trademark toothy grin. Small lettering on one side of head reads "Oswald The Lucky Rabbit" while opposite side includes registration number. Underside of each foot has very ft. company mark and "Oswald" name although none of this is very distinct. Doll has original cardboard string tag w/"Dean's Hygienic Dolls" brand name and "Oswald The Lucky Rabbit" name. Penciled inscription on reverse. Tag show obvious aging/wear and is VG overall. Doll has even aging but remains clean and is Fine/VF overall. Rare and first we've offered of this size and complete w/tag in our 49 years.
