Item Description
6" dia. by 2.5" tall, 1 lb. tin for "Superfine Mickey Mouse Cocoa" complete w/embossed lid reading "Quality Sweetacres Products." Australian confectioner, 1930s. Side text reads in part "Prepared By James Stedman-Henderson's Sweets Limited. 'Sweetacres,' Rosebery, Sydney, Australia." Generic lid variety (we offered the illustrated lid variety in our Nov. 2015 auction). Sides feature image of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Pluto. Tin shows scattered wear w/oxidation to unpainted portions. Lid has some denting and side has some scattered areas of rippling/denting. Still bright and glossy overall w/strong color.
