Item Description
Lot of three, each w/Walt Disney stamp and Faiencerie d'Onnaing China Co. of France company mark on undersides. 1936. Lot includes two dishes (3.75x5.25" and 4x9.25") w/same full body images of the Three Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf on each. Each image has tiny Walt Disney name underneath and each dish has ridges on inner base. Edges of each dish have silver luster accent. Some scattered minor wear to images, but dishes are o/w VF overall. Comes w/11" dia. handled cake plate w/central image showing Fiddler and Fifer Pig walking away from Practical Pig's house as the Big Bad Wolf appears about to pounce. French text below translates to "The Three Little Pigs." Company stamp and Walt Disney name on underside. Moderate scratching to Wolf's face, but rest shows just trivial wear.
