Item Description
Ceramic cups are 2.5" tall and 2.75" dia. each featuring artistic rendering of candidate w/name beneath and "1908." Taft cup has a 4.75" saucer w/text "William H Taft 1908." Saucer and Bryan cup are glazed and Taft cup is unglazed. Overall minor wear to all w/the most notable defect being four tiny less than 1/8" chips on the lip of the Taft cup. Fine w/Bryan cup and Taft saucer VF. Items produced by Waterloo Pottery are notorious for similar minor defects and these examples display as well as any we have encountered. Also included are two 8.25" dia. plates each w/"Sevres" hallmark on reverse and obverse featuring candidate portrait w/name beneath. Very faint surface wear consistent w/almost no use.
